Want longer lasting votives?

I have seen these votives last 18-22 hours with non-stop burning! When you reach a full melt pool, trim the wick to 1/8” and enjoy for the whole day! If you only burn them a couple hours at a time, they could last longer. Without any maintenance, they will last 15 hours. Place them in a tightly fitted container. The wick will curve to one side when lit, so please center the "flame". If one side doesn’t melt, move the wick over to that side until it is melted, but don’t let the flame touch the glass, then re-center.

Votives Are Our Environmental Choice

Reusable votive containers are the home to many votive candles. Votive Holders can be used over and over for a lifetime, just by dropping in a refill. At the end of a votives life, there is only a small metal tab for you to drop into your recycle bin. Therefore, votives have the smallest impact on the earth for our candle line. They are the environmental choice for Soylar Candles, because they are sold without a container. Pillar candles are also kinder to the environment because they do not require a container. We do not make pillars at this time.

For the best burn, place your votives in a tightly fitted container approved for votive candles.

By reusing and refilling your votive holders you are helping to cut down pollution from the manufacturing and shipping of new containers. You are also saving resources. If your votive holder should ever break you can feel happy to know it is 100% recycleable.

Natural Votive Packaging

[Natural Bagasse Box]

We use ALL NATURAL packaging for our votive candles. Bagasse is made from sugar cane fibers that were once just thrown away as waste material by the sugar cane industry.

Votive orders of 6, 12, 18 and 24 come in these small natural chlorine free bagasse boxes. The 16 votive package comes in one large bagasse box. All of our packaging is 100% biodegradable and renewable. Votive 2-Packs are packaged in natural plant-based cellophane bags with a natural tie.

Our candle warning labels and votive box labels are printed on tree-less stock and soy based inks. They are made from the fibers of bamboo, bagasse and cotton linters, with a water-based adhesive. The labels do not have a protective laminate coating so they will biodegrade quickly. Recycle your wick tabs and your votives are completely barefoot! (zero footprint).
